Welding studs
The Rivit welding studs are fastening systems used on sheet metal and shims to create threads. Thanks to the Rivit welding studs the outer side of the surface, on which the application has been done, remains smooth to safeguard its aesthetics.
The installation of the Rivit welding studs is very easy and it does not require accessibility from both sides of the sheet, as these products can be blind placed.
Rivit proposes different types of these fasteners, both for what concerns shape and materials:
- Threaded studs, available in copper-plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass
- Unthreaded studs, available in copper-plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass
- Tapped studs, available in copper-plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass
- 1 or 2 contact faston, available in copper-plated steel; 1 contact faston available in stainless steel, aluminum and brass
- Insulation nails, available in two models: plain or knurled copper-plated steel
The Rivit welding studs are applied with a proper capacitor discharge system.
