How to install Keiriv.
Make a hole with a standard tip, flare at 82°-100° for inserts and 90° for miniatures.
Make the thread using a standard male.
Screw the insert to more or less 0.25-0.70 mm under the surface level.
Press the pins with some hits using the proper tool.
Insert correctly placed.
How to remove Keiriv.
If necessary, you can remove a Keiriv insert without damaging the support material in which it is installed.
Remove material between the pins and the internal threads using the bit of the proper diameter (measures indicated in the relative table), bend the keys to the inside of the hole and break them, remove the insert by unscrewing it using a screw extractor or a similar tool, install a new insert into the hole originally tapped and press the pins.
