Three big pression wings distribute the tightening force evenly over a wide area of the surface. Soft, thin, flexible or fragile materials can be riveted safely as well without destroying or damaging the surface.
Mainly used to fix photovoltaic bearing brackets on corrugated sheet metal and sandwich panels.
